Rundou is made by VeronaLabs. This page explains what the app collects and what we do with it. In short: we use your data to run the app. We don't sell it, we don't show ads and we don't track you across other apps.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and a user ID.
- Location: your precise location while you record a run, including in the background if you turn that on, to draw your route and count it on your streets.
- Runs and health data: distance, time, pace, routes and average heart rate. If you allow it, we read your runs from Apple Health.
- Photos and things you write: profile and run pictures, group details, invites and reports.
- Crash reports: technical details about what went wrong in the app.
What other runners see
With Partner on, other runners see your first name, area, pace and usual running time. They never see your routes. You can hide your area in Settings. People on a leaderboard or in your group see your name and the standing or membership that goes with it.
Apple Health
We use data from Apple Health only to add your runs to the app. We never use it for advertising and never sell it.
Who handles your data
We keep your data on our own servers, hosted by Hetzner. Sign-in codes go out through an email delivery service. If you continue with Google or Apple, that company confirms who you are. We share data with others only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Until you delete it or delete your account. See how to delete your account.
Your choices
You can change your details in the app, stop showing yourself to other runners, stop location or Apple Health access in your iPhone's settings, and delete your account at any time. You can also email us to ask for a copy of your data or to have it corrected or deleted.
Children
Rundou is for people aged 18 and over.
